A Safe, Pesticide-Free Foraging Arena

On the borders of England and Wales, high on the Iron Age fort hill of Wapley Hill and its surrounding Herefordshire forest, our hives look south over a pristine sheep farming valley. Backed by the edge of ancient woodlands and vibrant bluebell woods, our bees forage across natural British hedgerows, native trees, fields of clover, and wild flora.

We are incredibly proud to say that our honey is just about as far away from pesticides and intensive, chemical-based crop farming as is physically possible in the UK.

Pure, Plastic-Free Beekeeping

In the same vein, we keep our process entirely free from plastic and unnatural beekeeping practices. We never use plastic frames or harsh chemical treatments. Our goal is to produce a delicious, raw unadulterated honey packed with all the health benefits that real, pure, natural honey can provide.

The secret behind our exceptional honey is threefold:

  • The Unspoilt Wild Location: A safe, pesticide-free environment for our bees.

  • Strict Natural Standards: No plastic, no shortcuts, and total respect for the hive.

  • Minimal Extraction: Harvested the natural way to keep the good stuff intact.

Why Does Real Honey Crystallize? (The Sign of True Honey)

If your honey starts to become thick, grainy, or solid over time, don't panic—this is actually the best sign that your honey is 100% real and raw!

Crystallization is a completely natural process. Raw honey contains natural sugars (fructose and glucose) and tiny particles of wild pollen. Over time, the glucose separates from the water and binds to the pollen, forming crystals. Mass-produced, fake supermarket honeys are heavily heated (pasteurized) and ultra-filtered to remove all pollen so they stay liquid forever on shelves. Because our Herefordshire honey is unadulterated and full of real pollen, it will crystallize over time. It's nature's proof of absolute purity.

The Easiest Way to Turn It Back to Liquid Honey

If you prefer your honey running smoothly, restoring it is incredibly simple:

  1. Place your glass honey jar into a bowl of warm water (around 40°C / 104°F—warm to the touch, but not boiling).

  2. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. The gentle warmth will naturally dissolve the crystals back into liquid gold without damaging the raw enzymes and health benefits. Note: Avoid the microwave, as intense heat destroys the honey's natural nutrients.
